Hi there 👋🏻 I’m Hannah and I have taken care of pets all my life! I have such a passion for animals and I would love to help you look after your pets! I have currently got a dog and cat which I’ve raised since a puppy and kitten :) I have experience in feeding, dog walking, cat sitting, playing, puppy training, pets with special needs and being a pet friend. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and ensure their happy and healthy life! Services
I run my small pet services business, Happy Paws And Whiskers, full time to help owners and pets whenever it suits them. I accept emergency last minute walk and sit bookings, last minute house sittings is upon availability, so if you every find yourself in a situation where you need a helping hand - I'm always here to help. But also, if you fancy a last minute day out with family or you just want a relaxing day to yourself, I've got you covered no matter the weather!
I offer a wide range of pet care for you to choose from. I currently offer, Dog walking, Puppy Walking, Cat sitting, Drop in's and House Sitting. I currently use the app/webpage called Rover to take bookings. Rover is an amazing platform which will give you peace of mind for every service.
For all services i will send you whats called a 'Rover card' at the end of every sit/walk which will include: a map trail of any walks, toilet break updates, photos and a brief summary of how the walk/sit went. Additionally, before any service that i offer, i include a free 'meet and greet' so you and your pet can meet me and make sure that you are happy with everything but also it gives you a chance to tell me everything about your pet and any additional needs your pet may have.
What to Expect
On a visit or walk the first thing I will always do is check that your pet is well and happy. I will always check with you first if you have any preference in how you would like the session to go, for instance if you would like me to focus on training that day or if you a big walk is needed :)
On a typical day once I’ve arrived and have greeted your pet I will make sure they are/ have been fed and then ready for some exercise, for just a normal house visit this would include play time with both mental and physical activities to make sure they are occupied for the session. For a walking session this would include a long 30 minute pre planned walk to ensure that your pet gets the most out of the session or there are options for 60 minute walks which again will be pre planned so that your pet gets to feel energised. Once the session has ended I will make sure that your pet is settled before leaving. For walks I will always make sure that your pet is clean and free from any mud from our walk before leaving them. Do expect a cute photo of them from time to time showing that they are enjoying themselves!
For House Sittings, on day 1 i will be available and with your pet from 4pm onwards. If you need me to be there before please let me know. Additionally, a typical day while house sitting i will be with your pets from 7pm-7am then depending on the day i will be attending my weekly preplanned walks from 10am-3pm however if i do have any gaps in walks and sits i will be dropping back in to see your pets. then i will be back with your pets around 3/4pm and stay with them until 5pm. I will then have to go back to my home address to prepare for the next day but then ill be back home with your pets at 7pm. This is just a standard template of a day and can be altered as required for your pets needs.
